What are the hardware requirements for Ecert Basic?

Today, Ecert Basic can be accessed online via any web browser. For inspectors and auditors using laptops or big screen tablets with Windows, the ‘Onsite’-tool is available.

Do I always need internet in order to access the system?

Ecert Basic can be accessed online (RDP/ Terminal Server) and offline via the Onsite-Tool (see below)

What is the Onsite-Tool and how does it work?

The Onsite-Tool offers the most important functions you need for inspectors and auditors to work offline. All you need to do is to accept the inspection assignment and to check-out all documents beforehand to bring them along for your inspection. Having conducted the inspection, the collected data can be uploaded as soon as you have internet again. You can also add photos that you have taken during your inspection.

Can I access the system with my tablet, iPad or smartphone via an app?

Intact, the developer of Ecert®, on which Ecert Basic is based, is currently developing an app for Ecert Basic users. The app will be available for Android and Apple devices. It will offer a perfect solution for tablet and smartphone users who need quick access with an easy interface. The app release is planned for the first half of 2020 after intense testing.
